Our 3 Step Process

Step 1: Get Assessed


It starts with a thorough assessment. TotalMotion Assessment uses science-backed criteria to determine your level of fitness in regards to:

  • Power

  • Stability

  • Strength

  • Flexibility/mobility

  • Cardiovascular Fitness

This is a 90-minute comprehensive exam where you will be performing at your max effort to determine your baseline level of fitness in each category.

Step 2: Review Your Results


Received a customized PDF report and analyze of your performance based on the TotalMotion Assessment. The report breaks down your performance in each category, comparing your results with norms for your age and gender. The reports also comes with expert analyze of areas of strength and weaknesses to help you determine the direction of your training.

Step 3: Choose a Plan and Get Training


We offer 3 solutions based on your assessment and goals, a standalone assessment and two training plans. These are personalized training plans designed to help you improve your areas of weakness based on your performance in the TotalMotion Assessment. You can expect to train 3-4 times per week for 8-12 weeks. At the end of your training cycle, we will retest to determine how much progress you’ve made.

Who is the TotalMotion Assessment for?


Anyone looking to improve movement quality, prevent injuries, or gain insight into their physical performance. This includes athletes, fitness enthusiasts, rehab patients, and individuals who want to maintain long-term musculoskeletal health.

How long does the assessment take?


The full evaluation typically takes about 75-90 minutes.

What should I expect during the assessment?


You’ll go through a series of evidence-based exams including a warm-up and battery of tests to determine your physical power, stability, strength, flexibility/mobility, & cardiovascular fitness. Our team will analyze your results and provide clear feedback on areas for improvement. You will also receive a detailed PDF report summarizing your results and personalized recommendations within a week of your assessment.

Should I prepare before the assessment?

This is a series of max-effort tests, aiming to determine your areas of movement strengths and inefficiencies. Let us know if you have any pre-existing conditions and injuries. We encourage you to reframe from eating in the 2 hours before your assessment. We also recommend not participating in any vigorous exercise in the 2-3 days before your assessment in order to more accurate assess your maximal efforts. Bring a water bottle

Will I receive a personalized plan?


Yes! Based on your assessment results, we provide targeted recommendations for training, mobility work, and injury prevention.

Is this assessment only for athletes?


Not at all! While athletes benefit greatly, the TotalMotion Assessment is designed for anyone who values movement quality and injury prevention.

How often should I get an TotalMotion Assessment?


We recommend re-assessing every 6-12 months to track progress and adjust training strategies accordingly.
